Well, La Santa Maria (our car) coped well with the Journey down to Malaga and back to get Dad.
In fact, it was pretty comfortable! We stopped on the way home to eat a sandwich and babble incoherently at some farmers.
Dad took all the photos in this entry (except the ones that he's in!).
We took a little trip out to el charco again!

And the Carp were going crazy. The entire shore of the lake and a length of the steam feeding it was alive with mating (presumably) Carp.
A photo of the Carp attempting to get further upstream (again presumably).

The next day, we went into town to have a look at the Cruces de Mayo (Crosses of May). We asked what it was about and we have a conflict. One of the locals said it was a tradition left over from the war when women would put crosses for their absent husbands. The Internet is suggesting it's a Spring Festival. Anyway they look nice, and here's a photo of one with Dad and the kids.

While we were in town Dad treated us to a meal at a local Hotel, El Torresoto. Here we are in the Patio.

We knocked up a potential seller while we were out, but they weren't in. No this isn't us leaving Ollie behind...

I was busy during the week days while Dad was here. And when he wasn't sunning himself on the Terrace, he spent some time wandering around the town. The next couple of photos are a good example of what the more attractive streets in the Old Quarter look like.
Mira que bonito.

In fact he walked down to the bottom of town and took a couple of photos from a viewpoint we haven't seen yet ourselves.

Hopefully he had a good time and we enjoyed having him. With a bit of luck, next time I'll be off work and we can take that trip to La Garganta Verde (The Green Throat) I mentioned to him.
That's all for now.
